Stacie Crawford Photography is owned by me, Stacie Crawford, and is located in Gaithersburg, Maryland in Montgomery County.  Stacie Crawford Photography serves Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Pennsylvania.  Photography services include child photography, family photography, boudoir photography, headshot photography, and private school photography.

Stacie Crawford Photography focuses on capturing studio-style images that showcase connection and loving relationships.  I enjoy capturing the unique styles and passions of children and the special relationships within loving families - including extended family members like grandparents! I love empowering women during boudoir photography sessions that women come to as a gift for themselves or a loved one.  I create portrait sessions that demonstrate personality for model headshots, actor headshots, and business headshots.  I also do photography work for private schools, focusing on school picture day and event photography.

On top of all of that, I started two new projects in 2016.  I have created a custom specialty birthday session for the children who come to my studio, and I am excited to roll that out starting in January.  I have also created HERstory, a project that will celebrate and share wisdom between women.  I am still looking for women of all ages to participate in the project, so if you're interested, please contact me.  I expect to share the first HERstory featured woman in April.

Momlife: Celebrating St. Patrick's Day With Kids

This month is full of celebrations for us.  We've got a bunch of birthdays in the family, and of course, St. Patrick's Day and Easter are coming up.  This year, St. Patrick's Day falls on a day that I have my kids, so I am gearing up for our celebration for the holiday!

You saw our Celebrating Valentine's Day, and our St. Patrick's Day is following a similar formula. Easy is the key for us - or should I say for me! If it takes too much work, it will get pushed out the way to make time for things like homework and errands and snuggling.  All very important, but this can totally be worked in without too much struggle!

Because we had a school holiday in February, we actually already did one of the planned holiday activities - we made Shamrock Pretzel Pops! I'll tell you more about that in a later post, though - complete with a recipe for you to try, too!

For now, I'd just like to share the activities I am planning to do with the kids on St. Patrick's Day itself.  We don't usually do too much for this holiday.  I will be honest and tell you the main reason is because I've never planned it well enough.  It has always seemed to sneak up on me between all the family birthdays.  Sad, but true.  This year, I am on it like white on rice!

To plan for this, I have gotten some chocolate gold coins to give to the kids as a little present. But I am going to make them work for it - enter the joy of Pinterest printables!  Here are the ones we will be using this year:

-This scavenger hunt from Happy Home Fairy:

-This maze from Honey & Lime:

-This word search from Cook. Craft. Love.:

You can go to my St. Patrick's Day board at Pinterest to find more of these, as well as other crafts, coloring pages, and crossword puzzles.  I'd love to hear what you have planned to celebrate this holiday with your children.  Do you have family traditions that you do every year? Leave a comment below, and have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!
