This is Manni.  Manni is one of my friends who has given me guidance about business and coming into my own.  When I met Manni a few years ago, she had just become a representative for Arbonne.  She was just starting to grow her own business, and we clicked immediately.

There are so many things I love about this woman! She is kind and giving, and most of all, she is REAL.  Manni doesn’t pull punches - she tells it like it is.  She will gladly hold your hand, and then raise you up toward your highest goals.  Manni has learned and grown so much over the years that I have known her, and she happily shares all the knowledge she has gained through her mistakes and triumphs.

One of the greatest mysteries of life and womanhood that Manni introduced me to is what I call the “age 35 law”.  The age 35 law is about that magical something that seems to happen to most women around the age of 35.  We start to become aware of who we truly are and feel like we have the right own it.  We become more internally confident about the choices we make, what we want, and what we don’t want.  Truly, its a sense of power that drives us to do the things we love be who we want to be.

I felt that stirring at 35, but now, at 40, I really believe it.  When talking to other women, I see it in their lives, as well.  I want all women to feel that power.  When I photograph women this age, I want to capture it in my images, so they can see themselves radiating that power.

Thank you, Manni.  Thank you for being willing to be in front of my camera over the years.  Thank you for teaching me so much along the way.  Most of all, thank you for being my friend.
